I'm still around :D

First off,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GRAMMY!!!

No to my blog post. Wow! I haven't updated my blog since my cousin Gavin's birthday party which was back in February. So much has happened since then.
My birthday party was April 21st. A lot of people showed up & I got a lot of nice presents. Mommy is still working on thank yous ;) I had a The Very Hungry Caterpillar theme & I had a clown show up. The clown wasn't that good but it's hard to know who you are hiring until you hire them, at least that's what Mommy said. Mommy wasn't very happy that some of the kids didn't end up getting their faces painted because the clown took so long doing other children's faces, & also she showed up with a bag of pre-made balloon animals & didn't do the costume chest like Mommy had paid for.
It was nice to see a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a while like my Auntie Terry who helped Mommy during my very long & very difficult entrance into the world. I got to see my GG & my Gr&ma! I also got to meet my Aunt Melinda & cousin Melissa.
We all went to Busch Garden's & I rode my first big boy rides. I rode the swings, the Go-Karts & the mini-ferris wheel. My favorite ride by far was the swings! I was so upset when Daddy had to take me off. I was screaming.

My mommy got a new job at Ivy Prep Learning Center. She works more hours but I still get to see her, she's in the classroom right next door. I like that I finally have a schedule. When Mommy was working at Paws my days were different everyday because some days she worked afternoons & some days she worked mornings. At Ivy Prep Mommy always works 8:30am-5:30pm. On Monday's I spend the day with Daddy. Tuesday & Wednesday I'm at school all day. Thursday, my Uncle Matt picks me up around 3pm so I can still spend time with him & Friday I go to school in the morning & Mommy brings me home to Daddy around 2pm so that he can sleep since he is still working third shift.

I made a lot of new friends at school. My best friend's name is Shoumik; he is two months older than I am. I also am friends with my teachers Ms. Priscilla & Ms. Nara. Also Mommy's friend who works in her classroom, Ms. Sarah & her daughter Sophia.
Ms. Sarah, her boyfriend R&y, & Sophia have done a lot together. We have gone to Adventure Island Waterpark & the zoo! We are thinking about going kayaking next weekend.
I've gone to the beach a lot already this year. It's a lot more fun now that I know how to walk. I love to splash in the ocean & sand is delicious!

Hm, what else? Oh! Last month, I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I made a very quick recovery. My doctor, Dr. Arline was very impressed with my recovery, it took me a week to get over it. I had to have nebulizer treatments & I was on an antibiotic. I'm 100% better now thank you. I had to miss a week of school though. :(

A month before my first birthday, we moved out of our town house into a nice big house. We spent a few weeks painting & then we put in new carpet. Mommy has a nice red & green apple kitchen & my nursery looks just like my first one that was in the town house! We plan on being here in the house for a while. I think Mommy & Daddy are going to buy it! I live right next door to my Grammy & Poppy. I like to walk over there sometimes & knock on the garage door & Mommy lets me in.

What else? Oh yes! A few weeks ago Grammy & Poppy took Mommy & I to my first baseball game! We went to Bright House Field to watch the Threshers. I got to eat some peanuts, an ice cream sandwich & I got to meet the mascot! He is a shark. He was lots of fun. He let me pet him!

This weekend is a long one for my Mommy. She has Monday off thanks to Memorial Day. Not sure what Mommy & Daddy have planned for us. I heard Mommy & Daddy talking about taking me to Aquatica Water Park on Monday. I love the water! Okay, I need to go back to bed. Good night. xoxox
