HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAVIN!!!
Yesterday, was my cousin Gavin's first birthday party. His actually birthday isn't until the 21st. We are exactly two months apart, Mom thinks that's pretty cool. I had a blast at his party!
I was so excited to see Gavin! When we got to his house, my mom put me on the ground with him and I started laughing because I was so excited. I really like that he speaks the same language as me and we can understand each other. There as another little boy there named Patrick who was 8 months old. He spoke our language too!
Gavin's mom Amanda, put so much time into planning Gavin's party. There
was so much to do!
There was a very large bounce house there. It was kind of scary going in but once I was in it was fun. I love to jumpy jump so much! Mommy held my hand while we jumped together.
Amanda also hired a clown for Gavin. She was painting faces and making cool things out of balloons. I got my face painted like a monkey and got a puppy hat made out of balloons!
I didn't take a nap all day. There was way too much going on! I would not want to miss the piñata or Gavin smashing his cake! Wow, he destroyed that cake! It looked SOOO yummy. I got a little taste of it from Mommy's cupcake. I cannot wait until my birthday party!
After the party, we brought my cousin Olivia and her mommy home and we got dinner at Sonny's. The waitress was surprised at how much I ate and how well I ate. I had chicken, ribs, green beans, corn, corn bread and some baked potato. They were out of sweet potato. It was a bummer.
After dinner it was time to ride home. A FOUR HOUR DRIVE HOME; TORTURE!!! I fell asleep pretty quickly though because I was so tired from not having a nap. We got home around 12:30am and I was wide awake but the sun was not. Mommy kept asking me to go to bed. I don't understand why. I just had that really long nap, I just wanted to play with her. Mommy was crying but she stopped I guess she was just so excited to play with the puzzles with me!
I took another nap around 3:30 am and slept until 7am and my daddy was home! He had to work yesterday so he missed out on Gavin's birthday.
Today I got to hang out with my Grammy and Poppie for a few hours! They took me to church so I played with some of my church friends. I hadn't seen them in a little while because Mommy has been working on Sunday's. Now I'm home with Daddy, he works again tomorrow. He's been putting in something called "over-time". I'm not quite sure what that is, all I know is he isn't home when he is supposed to be, like yesterday!
Okay, I've had enough of updating my blog on my smart phone. I'm gonna check out e-trade and then chase Lydi around.
